ForVue was built by an attorney and multifamily operator who got tired of his maintenance team hunting for parts on Google in the middle of a callback. The platform started as an internal tool for his own properties. The Weibull-Bayesian math came after — because once the team had the daily-use tool, the data they generated was good enough to predict what would fail next, and what it would cost.
Christopher Wise is an attorney, U.S. Navy SWCC veteran, and multifamily property operator based in Louisville, Kentucky. He is the sole inventor of the patent-pending Weibull-Bayesian Composite Predictive Maintenance Scoring System that powers ForVue (USPTO Provisional Patent Application No. 64/032,704, filed April 8, 2026).
He spent six years in the U.S. Navy Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewmen (SWCC) program — Class 61, Team 22, from 2008 to 2014 — before earning his Juris Doctor and entering real estate as an operator. The discipline that comes out of military special warfare training and the precision required to practice law converge in the methodology behind ForVue: deterministic, auditable, defensible. Every score traces back to a published equation. Every outcome updates the model. No black boxes.
ForVue was built on Christopher's own properties first. The scoring engine was calibrated against actual failure events in his portfolio, then validated against ASHRAE 2019 Equipment Life Expectancy, HUD Useful Life Standards, and NAHB Component Lifespan studies. By the time it was offered commercially, it had been running in production for over a year.
Wise Capital, LLC is the parent entity behind ForVue. A multifamily property operator that built its own technology because no existing product solved the problem. ForVue is now operated as a separate platform serving operators, government housing authorities, lenders, and insurance carriers nationwide.
ForVue's scoring methodology, knowledge base, and software implementation are protected under U.S. patent, copyright, trademark, and trade-secret law. Sole inventor and author: Christopher Wise, J.D.
Owners can restrict team members to specific properties. Useful for multi-region operators, regional maintenance supervisors, and any organization where different people handle different assets. Role and property scope compose independently.
